Winnie the Pooh Letter Cake

This client had contacted me way back February, after seeing a post on the number 6 cake that I made for my daughter's birthday. She couldn't wait to have a similar design, featuring Winnie the Pooh and friends, for her 29th birthday in four months time!

Her all-time favourite fruit is mango, and she wanted to make sure that there was plenty of that on her cake! I baked up two large vanilla sheet cakes for this cake, since I had to carve two letters: E & K.

The cakes were filled with fresh whipped cream, and chunks of fresh mango and mixed fruit! To top the cake were loads of sweet mango chunks, strawberries, blueberries, meringues, fresh flowers and Milleaville's too cute Pooh and friends macarons!

"EK" Letter cake

In addition to the cake, and macarons, I delivered yummy mango and strawberry tarts from Sugarena. The birthday girl's friends helped her to setup at this dessert table at their villa at Changi Civil Service club. I was drooling at the BBQ when I came to drop off the cake and desserts! So happy to hear that everyone enjoyed the cake and desserts! Happy 29th birthday, Elin!

P.S. Since there was quite a bit of off-cut cake left from carving process, my daughter decided to try her hand in decorating, and made this cute cake that we had for dessert after dinner with the inlaws.
