Transformeres Cake

It was honour to make Ashton's birthday cake again this year. I've been making cakes for him since he turned three: Finding Nemo, Planes, BB8! And now he's celebrating his 6th birthday with a Transformers theme! 

Transformers Cake

The cake is the ever-popular Devil's food cake, filled with whipped dark chocolate ganache. It is frosted in red vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, and decorated with a fondant cutout of the Autobots logo on top, and fondant lettering. To border the bottom edge, I used Callebaut dark chocolate Crispearls.

This cake was for Asthon's school celebration. It's been such a journey, seeing him grow through preschool and I'm so grateful to his mummy for always coming back to me for his birthday cakes! Look at the big boy's happy smile! Happy 6th Birthday, Ashton!!
