Remember that song from the cartoon movie, The Jungle Book, where Colonel Hathi and his elephant patrol march through the jungle singing "Oh the aim of our patrol, is a question rather droll..." Anyway, I had that tune humming in my head while I was making these little one-bite elephant cookies, in the same grey and pink colour scheme as last year. The cookies are vanilla-lemon sugar cookies, decorated with fondant. The ears were cut out using a heart plunger cutter, and their eyes were dotted on with a black edible ink food marker.
