These pair of Tsum Tsum cat cookies were for a lady that really loves these characters: Marie Cat & Cheshire Cat! It was a surprise gift for her from her good friend. And she even kindly sent me this cute pic of the cookies all nicely plated, surrounded by Tsum Tsum plush toys.

Marie Cat & Cheshire Cat Tsum Tsums |
If you are wondering what the heck a Tsum Tsum is, it's basically your favourite Disney/Pixar/Sanrio/Star Wars/Marvel Character, made into a sausage shape and given wider eyes, while still maintaining the character's key features and colour scheme. The Tsum Tsum game is really addicting too...I use to lose sleep trying to make the longest chain and earn enough coins to collect all the characters!

Cheshire Cat & Marie Cat Tsum Tsum cookies |
The cookies are vanilla-lemon sugar cookies, decorated with fondant. I don't have cookie cutters for these characters, so I hand-cut them with a knife, using a print out of the images as a template. I got the gradient effect on the Cheshire Cat's muzzle by "carefully" marbling shades of pink fondant. Marie Cat's whiskers and eyelashes were drawn on using an edible ink food marker, and her blush was painted on with sparkly pink luster dust. Love how cute these pair of cats turned out! Happy Stacking! Haaaa.
