Frozen Cake

Little Lauren was celebrating her birthday at school and her mummy wanted to get a Frozen-themed cake for her! The cake is a triple-layer Devil's Food Cake filled with whipped dark chocolate ganache and frosted with chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream.

I decorated the cake in teal, sky blue and white to compliment Frozen's colours. The buttercream icicle border around the cake was done just using a round piping tip and dragging the tip downwards while gradually releasing pressure on the piping bag.

The cake was accented with fondant snowflake cutouts and of course, personalized with the birthday girl's name! Frozen toy figurines were used as cake toppers.
