Strawberry Cake

I whipped up a super simple strawberry cake for the nice cleaning lady. It's a light strawberry cake, filled with strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream, frosted with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and decorated with fresh sliced Korean strawberries.

I finally got to use this very "heart-y" cake box that I picked up from Daiso a long while back. Didn't have an occasion suitable for it. But, it is February, a couple days after Valentine's day, on the week of Chinese New Year, so hey, why not? Anyway, I hope the Auntie and her family enjoy this light strawberry cake for dessert.
