These tiara & stars cookies were a dessert table item for a "Rainbow, Tiara & Stars" party for a little girl celebrating her 7th birthday.

The cookies are vanilla, with a hint of lemon. I decorated them with fondant cuz I think it's much easier to cut the fondant out with the same cutter used for the cookie, than it is to flood it with royal icing! I did use royal icing for the details like the swirls and dots and lines on the cookies though.

For the tiaras, after drawing in the "jewels" with royal icing, I sprinkled them with disco dust while the royal icing was still wet, to give them a little sparkle.

All the cookies were individually packed in cellophane bags, tied off with a ribbon in the same colours as the cookies. If I didn't have a ribbon collection then, boy do I have one now! Lots of different pastel colours to match these pastel rainbow cookies. This was good bow-tying practice for sure!

These cookies went on this super colourful Rainbow Tiara & Stars dessert table, styled by My Sweet Secrets. It's a very colourful table, indeed, with a custom-sewed rainbow ruffle table cloth & all the rainbow snacks and sweets!
