Minnie Mouse Ombré Roses Cake

The birthday girl's mummy was worried that there wouldn't be enough cake to feed her 50 guests, but I assured her that there would be. This cake is essentially a 3-tier cake, since the pink ombré tier is a double barrel cake consisting of two, 3-layer strawberry cakes filled with whipped dark chocolate ganache, stacked on top of each other, in addition to the top tier formed by the Minnie Hat! It can easily feed up to 65 people.

I love the dramatic effect of the super tall bottom tier. There are four shades of pink rosettes, piped out using a mini star tip. The birthday girl's name was cut out of fondant using a fancy font tappit cutter. The top tier of the cake, with the bow and the ears were made in the same way as this Minnie Mouse cake

Happy 1st Birthday, Chloe! I hope you had a mouse-tastic celebration and that you were spoiled by all your family and friends!
