Chocolate Lego Bricks

I made these chocolate Lego Bricks using the leftover chocolate from the chocolate-covered Oreos and rainbow cake pops that I made for the AppleJack Rainbow party

chocolate Lego bricks!

We had bought the Lego Brick and Lego Man moulds from Legoland in Billund, Denmark a couple years ago and so far, we've only used them to make ice. I wanted to see if I could use them to mold chocolate. They are silicone moulds, after all!

It was really easy to make these chocolates. I just re-melted the coloured chocolate in the microwave for about 40 seconds. Then I spooned them into the mould, tapped them on the counter to get rid of the trapped air bubbles and then refrigerated them for 10 mins. I turned the mould inside out on wax paper and out popped the colourful chocolate Lego bricks!

I guess I should've tapped them a bit harder on the counter because you can see that there are tiny holes where the air bubbles were trapped. I'm gonna let my kids have these for Easter, in additional to all the other chocolate and Easter eggs they're gonna get!
